Hello! I’m Niki Weinberg, a surface designer, pattern artist, and painter based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I earned my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and spent over a decade running a fine art studio called Paper Tangent, where I created custom work for more than 300 clients. That experience became the foundation for what I do now: developing original patterns and fine art for licensing, product collaborations, and the occasional collector piece. 

I am endlessly inspired by art history, gardens, interior heirlooms &  the natural world, and I love to translate those passions into work meant to live on the things we use every day, from textiles to paper goods to pieces for the home. My patterns are already finding their way into the world through a few licensing partnerships, and that side of my work keeps growing as I go.
